This course will enable a learner to describe the storage devices used for keeping raw and edited media contents, describe devices for processing raw materials into finished print media contents, Describe instruments and symbols used for manual editing of print media contents, apply text editing skills in improving print media content, use guidelines for composing catchy headlines in editing print media content and use house style to design and make layout of newspaper and magazine

This course gives sight to Journalism students to Layout, Design and graphics for print media, in other words, to the knowledge of designing print media contents in which they will work as media professionals. The course aims at providing students an understanding of the basic knowledge of designing and laying out print media contents. Students learn design and lay outing techniques to sustain media content development and principles to establish valuable print outputs
